BioWhen I was in the Navy, I had a top secret security clearance and I trained in advanced firefighting. I earned a combat action ribbon in the Navy.
I wrote to a girlfriend aboard ship while I was out at sea and two weeks after I got out of the Navy, I married my girlfriend. Six months after I got married, my wife divorced me. My wife may have had the marriage annulled before the divorce but I'm not sure.
In 1982, I started seeing an orthomolecular psychiatrist and I was started on a regimen of psychotropic medications. I saw this psychiatrist for several years until he retired. Then, I started seeing a more conventional psychiatrist and I was put on Geodon and Trazodone. After years of being on Trazodone, the medication started working and I started getting my memory back.
I did several kinds of LSD in the Navy along with many kinds of illegal drugs. I never had to pay for the drugs except for an occasional bag of marijuana.
One time when I was on a kind of LSD, I was staying in an apartment in National City, which is just outside of San Diego, and I was staring at a houseplant, when a caterpillar fell out of the houseplant and died on the counter. It made me feel like killing myself, but I got over it.
Another time, I did some Orange Sunshine LSD in the Phillipines and I felt like I was in heaven because it made me feel so good. But, then I got paranoid and there were some Phillipinos asking me if I wanted to spend the night with a bar girl. I didn't feel like having sex because of the LSD so I declined. This made the Phillipinos angry and I got paranoid and thought they werwe going to beat me up so I hurried to my shipmates hotel room there in Olongapo City, Phillipines and when I got there, my friend and a bar girl were going at it in bed and I asked my friend if I could get in bed with him and to my surprise, he let me. A little later, I started seeing shadows under the door so I thought it was the Phillipinos getting ready to break down the door. I got out of bed and tore a leg off of a wooden table in the room and waited for the door to fly open. It turned out that I was just paranoid from the LSD and I got back to the ship safely the next day.
On June 28, 1984, I met a girl named Linda Christine Miller on a bus in Hopkins, Minnesota and it turned out that we were both heading to a place called Vail Place for people with mental problems. I started talking to her in Vail Place and that started a long friendship. Linda started living with me shortly after we met and we lived at my mother's house. On August 3, 1991, we moved into our own apartment and I've been living with Linda ever since.
